Watch Classic Films Every Sunday At This Mumbai Cinema

Film lovers celebrated the opening of Matterden Centre for Films and Creation (CFC), also known as Deepak Cinema, in South Mumbai as a new art hub for like-minded people to get together and immerse themselves in India’s artistic world.

We’ve been given even more reason to celebrate with their latest announcement – “26 Sundays, 26 films.” Starting August, the iconic institution will be screening of classic films every Sunday. These include Hollywood films such as 2001: A Space Odyssey, Annie Hall and Psycho as well as international and Indian films like Pather Panchali, Children of Heaven, Jalsaghar and Ikiru.

If the old classics aren’t for you the film schedule includes more offbeat films like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pulp Fiction and Before Sunrise. While the showtime is tentative, being finalised two days prior (which you get informed about via email), you can view and book tickets with their entire screening schedule that has been posted online – all the way till end of January next year! With tickets at INR 125, what are you waiting for?

Follow their Facebook page for updates, you can view the entire schedule and book tickets here.
